House rules

  • Smoking:
    Apart from our smoking lounge it is not allowed to smoke in any part or room of this hotel. We will charge €100.00 cleaning costs in case you do smoke in your room. Smoking outside your window is also not allowed.
  • Fire detector:
    Disassembling, abolishing or hindering the functionality of the fire detector is prohibited and will result in eviction from the hotel and may be reported to the authorities as this is punishable by law.
  • Fire:
    Any use of fire inside the hotel rooms is not allowed.
  • Fire alarm:
    When the fire alarm sounds you will have to follow the emergency exit signs in a calmly matter. You will find a map on the inside of your hotel room door displaying the evacuation routes.
  • Drugs:
    The use of drugs is prohibited in the hotel. Using drugs in the hotel will result in eviction from the hotel and may be reported to the authorities.
  • Weapons:
    The possession of weapons is prohibited in the hotel. Possession of weapons will result in eviction from the hotel and will be reported to the authorities.
  • Theft:
    Hotel Rotterdam is not responsible for any lost or stolen belongings while staying in the hotel
  • Emergency exits:
    It is not allowed to use the emergency exits when the evacuation alarm is not sounding.
  • Own consumptions:
    Apart from your hotel room, it is not allowed to use consumptions that were not bought from the hotel.
  • Ordering in:
    When ordering food you will have to collect your order at the reception as the deliverer is not allowed to deliver at your room.
  • Check-out:
    Unless otherwise instructed by any member of the hotel’s team, check-out is before 12h00. Checking-out after 12h00 will result in additional charges that may lead up to an new room night.
  • Instructions:
    Instructions from hotel staff are to be followed at all times.
  • Pets:
    Pets are not allowed in Hotel Rotterdam.
  • Visitors:
    Inviting visitors to your room is not allowed. Furthermore it is not allowed to share a room with more than 2 persons. Children that still sleep in a baby cod are allowed to stay in the same room.
  • “Do Not Disturb” sign:
    The  “Do Not Disturb” sign will prevent the housekeeping from entering your room which means, your room will not be cleaned. Housekeeping is present until 12h00.
  • Uniforme Voorwaarden Horeca:
